The Bed and Breakfast is located within the city of Bordeaux, close to the boulevards.
La Maison Bleue is in the centre of the city in the historic quarter, amidst the calm: St Genès is classed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is a much loved area favoured by bordelais families.
Tramline B- the red line- 5 minutes from the Bed and Breakfast where you'll be able to jump on and visit the city- from the quais in towards the North to the University in the South.

The University centres (Victor Ségalen CHU Pellegrin - St André - Haut Levêque - X Arnozan & ifsi) Campus de Talence and Pessac are all easily accessible from La Maison Bleue by public transport.
Leave for a day trip to Arcachon or St Emilion, just an hour away on the train
If taking a car, take advantage of our private parking as inner Bordeaux has parking restrictions ( maximum stay 4h15 = 30€)
You'll find here an easy access to the boulevards allowing a direct drive :
- To the vineyards: St Emilion, Médoc an hours dive away and the first of the Graves vineyards only five minutes from here
- To the coast : Le Bassin d'Arcachon, Le Cap Ferret and the villages surrounding them famous for their oysters as well as le Médoc Bleu (Lacanau, Le Porge) an hours drive away
- To the events places and arenas : Parc des Expositions, Le Vélodrome, Le Grand stade au Lac, 20 minutes North from here ; "Akea Arena" at the closest boulevard end and for Rugby "Le Stade Chaban Delmas" is really close to La Maison Bleue (15 min walk)

Important to know if you come by car :
Due to the renovations in Bordeaux, there are now many underground car parks which can be quite expensive ( around 25 euros per day ).
Parking in the road is limited to 4:15 consecutive hours on a parking meter for 30 to 35 €, so not an ideal solution for your visit!
