The Blue House is a short walk from Bordeaux city centre, nestled in the heart of the tranquil St. Genès area. Your hosts offer you a family atmosphere in accommodations full of character.
Nothing like the standard cookie-cutter hotels, this private house on the outskirts of Bordeaux city centre lets you drop off your suitcases, park your car, and just head out to make the most of the charming Bordeaux region. The area is served by both regular bus and tram lines.
When you return from your day’s adventures, the family dog will bark a welcome, and your hosts, eager to hear all about your day, will also be ready to suggest some possibilities for the following day’s activities.
The Blue House was built at the end of the 19th century and has retained the typical style and architecture of Bordeaux. When you stay at this “vieille dame,” you can sit (and smoke, if you wish) in the small flower and herb garden between the street and the rest of the house. Your rooms stay cool in the middle of the summer heat in the shelter of the stone walls.

Two separate rooms located at the entrance sleep 2 to 4 people.
